Glazed stoneware dinner plate. Wheel thrown, upside down. Footer completed first, then I drug a stretched metal spring between the clay and the wheel to separate them. Flipped over and dried on a support. This was exhibited at Art From The Heart Gallery, and at OPEN.
Glazed stoneware salad plate.
The front of this bowl is a tornado. As a survivor of the April 3, 1974 tornado Super Outbreak, and as someone who has called Kentuckiana home for most of her life, storms and tornados sometimes find their way into my work. This was shown at the Howard Steamboat Museum.
My first shroom.
